Kids Dig Wisconsin Potatoes
4th Grade
(Program can be adapted for students in Kindergarten – 12th Grade)
The Kids Dig Wisconsin Potatoes Program was developed by the Wisconsin Potato Growers Auxiliary to help students learn about the Wisconsin Potato Industry and where their food comes from. Students will learn first hand what it takes to grow potatoes when you grow real potatoes in your classroom! We will supply you with seed potatoes, a materials list, and instructions. We’ll even help you plan a Harvest Party for the class when it is time to harvest your potatoes.
