About Wisconsin Potatoes in the Classroom
Wisconsin Potatoes in the Classroom is a grant program which offers an opportunity for schools to apply for funding to support the use of Wisconsin potatoes in high school family consumer science and agriculture classes. Funding is provided by the Wisconsin Potato Growers Auxiliary through monies raised by their baked potato sales at the Wisconsin State Fair and through the Wisconsin Potato Industry Board.
- Complete and submit the application below. The deadline to apply for second semester grants is March 3, 2023.
- Once approved, you will receive confirmation from the Wisconsin Potato Growers Auxiliary. Grant money must be used for the current school year.
- After completing your lesson, fill out the evaluation form and scan and submit your receipts.
- Wisconsin Potato Growers Auxiliary will reimburse you after receiving the evaluation forms and receipts. (Reimbursements will not be issued without evaluation form and receipts).
Funds can only be used for classroom and lab settings. Funds may not be used for other school functions.
